This is what happens when you import too many people from cultures that don’t assimilate, they fester and grow until it’s too late, say Lebanon or many other. Or use social institutions like “education “ to indoctrinate and dumb down enough souls to become mobs of hate filled “useful idiots.” The slow creep of do goodism destroys and spins out any truth from reality. Where is the Canada I once knew?

It is sad. Our once great country is becoming a shell of its former self.

James Pew writes: “Over the last few years, since the insane international media hoax involving false claims of clandestine unmarked graves at a former Indian Residential School in Kamloops BC, calls to condemn acts of vandalism/political violence were absent in the face of egregious acts of destruction (including the vandalism of 100 churches1, 33 of which burned to the ground2).”

Some violence seems to be OK, much like some animals are more equal than others in Orwell’s fable Animal Farm. When I was teaching there were restrictions on talking about violence, but if the violence was committed by white police officers or Nazi Germany or Christian teachers in residential schools, we were encouraged to go to town. There is a double standard, as police officer Derek Chauvin knows best. Around the world, Muslim on Muslim violence gets little play, but violence against Muslims by non-Muslims and especially Jews is a daily fixture in TV news.

And yet the trucker convoy, which had zero violence, zero vandalism, zero threats, but cleaned up, played hockey, and yes, made noise, was considered an act of domestic terrorism where people had their lives ruined and the entire Canadian population was subject to the Emergencies Act? Double standards indeed!!

I don’t think anyone really needs to befriend political religions on any basis of justice. Political religions tend to be based on violence and extremism.

I think drawing a line at “actual” genocide is consistent with humanity. That’s what criticism of the state crimes and extensive war crimes of Israel is about. Israel represents global banking concentration and its military-technological will. Is it keeping any nation “safe”? No, it’s doing the opposite, clearly.

For some insane reason, it appears that Israel is being given carte blanche to kill as many women, children, & non-combatants, displace 2 million people constantly, & wreck the entire area of Gaza with zero consequences because 'Oct 7'.

There was a distinct reason for the creation of the Laws of Armed Conflict, in particular the concept of Proportionality. If one of your soldiers is killed, it is not ok to wipe out the entire village where you believe the sniper is hiding. Israel is indeed committing war crimes. That being said, America commits war crimes all the time, the most egregious being the over-reaction to 9/11. How many brown people were slaughtered in Afghanistan and Iraq compared to the deaths on US soil?

The West isn't the 'good' guys just because we say we are. Hamas are definitely not 'good' guys either, they're f'ing monsters. But where does it end? Back in the day, it would have ended with the actual annihilation of everyone in Gaza. History is full of the strong literally wiping out the weak so the conflict would end once and for all, stopping this endless back and forth. Genocide is consistent with humanity & it's only relatively recently that we've tried to 'draw a line'.

For an in depth background on much of this type of history, I recommend listening to Martyr Made (Darryl Cooper) here on Substack.

I think that the crisis of imperialism is much more about corporate & banking power growing beyond the limits of nation states. How can any government reel in Big Oil, Big Tech, or Military Industrial at the globalized scale? These powers have grown larger than even the US government. Criminal law or the UN was not designed for it.

When your economy is predicated on a demand for death, then follow the money? How can nation states exist when Empires deny any features of nation states in the modern period? It’s a very ugly world, dysfunctional, in decline. Logos or civilization is another question, as it doesn’t seem possible with post-nations, or dying empires.

Follow the money plus follow the power-mad. 'Provoked' by Scott Horton is a very compelling read.

It’s called war. Give back the hostages and the war is over. Has nothing to do with Jewish people in Canada and other countries.

Believe it or not but there are some actual rules that go along with 'war' which is why most civilized nations follow or are signatories of the Geneva Convention. Taking the hostages, war crime. Killing tens of thousands of Gazans & destroying all their infrastructure, also war crime. The hostages could have been negotiated for but once the IDF rolled in, that was going to pretty much be off the table. Israel has used the whole episode to wreck Gaza and Hamas no matter the cost in lives.

Of coursed there will be vandalism against Jews. When you commit genocide in real time, people will condemn you and rightfully so. Interesting to note that in Australia Israel nationalist were caught committing vandalism against themselves to gain sympathy for their murderous cause and to shift blame onto the Palestinians which makes me wonder if the same deceptions are occurring in Canada.

The Jews in Canada, the US have nothing to do with what is going on in Israel. Stupid. Do you condemn all Muslim people for what Hamas is doing? Women should protest against Muslim men for what is happening to the women of Afghanistan and Iran etc.
